End of Term Awards and Concert
The Barnsley Youth Jazz Orchestra and Barnsley Youth Swing Band had a great time performing at the Holiday Inn Barnsley on Sunday. We heard lots of excellent soloists and and both groups performed well.
Congratulations to all the music students who passed their exams and to Lewis who won this years Holin Hammerton memorial trophy. A fantastic end to the academic year! Well done team
Old Town Gala 2017
The weather was great and the Barnsley Youth Jazz Orchestra had a great time performing at the Old Town Gala in Barnsley. There were plenty of stalls, bouncy castles and even a dog show. A Jazz Orchestra members dog Ted won the cutest puppy award! Well done Ted
